A friend and I have tried this restaurant for late lunches on three different visits during 2022. Clearly it's a popular place but we don't seem to be in synch with the menu items. We have tried sandwiches, salads, and soups and we feel like the food is about average. It isn't a place that we feel like driving 10 miles for the food. It is, however, a place where we have bumped into acquaintances that love the food. Maybe it's just us.

The owners have new desserts now that actually taste good. Nothing like the old desserts. Desserts are gross so don't even bother trying them.

The best part is the service! Friendliest people and soooo sweet! Definitely the highlight of our trip!

324945620 mar 2021Drove over to Charlotte's from Soldotna at 9am to try their breakfast selections but they were unexpectedly closed and the sign on the door indicated that their hours started at 11am instead of 8am. Hoping to revisit this place and provide an updated review in the future. If you are thinking about trying this spot, please call ahead to confirm that they are open.

Toast was finally brought to the table long after we had began eating. And this has been the story for the last 3 times. Sourdough blueberry pancakes served with no blueberries. Not enough to make us not want to return, but the lack of consistency is kind of a problem.

This is a great breakfast spot. The pancakes were huge. Wait staff were great, too. Other in our group said the oatmeal was good, the croissant was so flaky. The skillet was good, too. Prices were expected. A nice little breakfast Cafe. Would definitely recommend.

A local joint that does not disappoint. The locals here bus tables, assist with refilling waters, and share stories. The sourdough pancakes were the size of dinner plates and pricing was respectable. Hidden gem in Kenai.
