I have been shopping in here for over a year now. It is a very nice shopping center with lots of clothing shops and eateries. It's so easy to get around and the atmosphere is great.

Celestial, Celestial - my behind. More like Overpriced Crap. I came in here looking to buy my mother a Christmas present. A candle or something would have been nice. I found a Rose and Lavender candle that smelled divine. I flipped it over to look at the price and I got brought back to reality really quick - it was £4.50. OK, so I am a cheapskate, I admit, but still, I'm not into spending a fiver on a stupid candle that's going to burn into nothingness in the long run. Ignoring my reservations, I held onto it while I perused what the rest of the shop had to offer.
It had cute little knick knacks of all sorts - cards, lipstick holds, keychains, purses. I took a photo of the jewellery display. Then I went to the back of the shop and found loads of overpriced ugly clothes that only a wicked witch or a sexless spinster would wear and I took a picture of them. 'Excuse me, no more pictures please!' said a woman behind the counter that I did not even recognise existed until that very moment because she did not bother to greet me when I came into the store as she was picking her cuticles and developing blisters on her buttocks from sitting on her ass for so long embracing indolence with all of her being. I was annoyed to say the least. Like seriously, why can't I take pictures? Do you have a black magic banshee kickin' it behind the trouser section or something? I put my candle back and sprinted out of the shop. She could stuff it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hannah B.Londra, Regno Unito1334240427 nov 2008Primo recensore
If Celestial sold any more things then they would probably be spilling out onto the street.
A large part of the shop is taken up by display cases of jewellery, which in my opinion Celestial should focus more exclusively on. Beautiful silver, semi precious stones and beads are everywhere you look and affordably priced for what you are getting.
On top of that, they sell cosmetics, soaps, boho style clothes, pretty underwear, notebooks, bags, mugs and cards. It is a gift shop selling everything on the market.
As long as you do not feel overwhelmed, it is possible to find some real treasures in here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Utente Qype (warrio…)Londra, Regno Unito133253524 feb 2009
I so want to like this shop but every time I leave it I'm muttering under my breath in annoyance. On the surface everything about it is great - it's in the lower end of Lordship Lane, perfect for browsing in after brunch, it sells interesting and quirky clothes designs, cute jewellery and pretty knick knacks and it has the decor is gorgeous. There's a dressing-up-box feel about the place that I really enjoy and there's always something interesting to look at but there's a problem: every time I see something I like in there and peek at the price tag I have to laugh out loud in astonishment.
Of course I appreciate that nice things cost money, and I'd rather buy clothes from a smaller shop that has control over its sourcing. But I suppose we all have our tipping points, and the majority of the goods for sale in Celestial are over mine. I'd pay up to £60 on a dress that was take-your-breath-away fantastic but until this shop slices about £20 off every expensive item my money will be staying in my pocket.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Utente Qype (sugarf…)Londra, Regno Unito154219 gen 2008
This is a very nice shop based in lordship lane, east dulwich.
It a small run business, boutique type shop selling various items, from jewellery to bags to lingerie to bath essentials, great for you women out there. They even once sold a top exactly from what sienna miller wore, it was a boho top. You will find many other beautiful products in the shop and I love to visit there every week. So always save up some cash!!! The bags they use are wonderful its recycled newspaper bags and it looks so chic and nice, got a collection.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Utente Qype (mitch…)Londra, Regno Unito15020 nov 2008
A little den to get lost in, fantastic and unusual range of gifts and great for accessories. The jewellery is certainly different to the norm!
